Reasons Behind the Debut of Sai Sudharsan and Arshdeep Singh:

Indian selectors have been looking for a terrific left-handed top-order batsman. Now it looks like, in the form of Sai Sudharsan, the search has ended successfully. Sai has done a great job in the first-class cricket, and being a youngster, it could be a great opportunity to groom him for at least the next 5 years.

The same logic also applies to Arshdeep Singh. India has not had any impressive left-arm pacers in the red-ball cricket since the retirement of Zaheer Khan. Tried some candidates but did not get much success. This young prodigy has got everything from pace to variety, and the tour of England could be a perfect opportunity to unleash this new beast.
