Uncapped Indian Fast Bowlers Who Are Likely to Draw Attention in the IPL 2025 Auction

The IPL 2025 Auction pool will see many uncapped Indian players trying their luck. Years of hard work and persistence will ultimately pay off. Many fortunes will be changed overnight. Some will see millions of dollars for the first time. All these players will hope for selection and have a seat in the dressing room with the legends of the game.

The youngsters will be hoping for a better auction. Players picked in the earlier seasons will look forward to the franchises retaining their faith in them. However, the journey will be an uphill task. They will be up against some of the best in the business. The pool will see some of the quality fast uncapped Indian bowlers who are likely to attract good bids from the franchises.

Let’s look at the fast bowlers who could attract good bids in the IPL 2025 Auction:

Anshul Kamboj

A young right-arm pace bowler from Haryana who has the potential to become one of the go-to bowlers for the captain in the upcoming IPL seasons. Playing for Haryana, Anshul Kamboj has done a good job in the opportunities given. He has picked 17 wickets in 14 matches at an economy of 8.25. He was picked by the Mumbai Indians but played only 3 matches for them. In the three games, he picked 2 wickets.

However, his recent performance in the ongoing Emerging Asia Cup 2024 is likely to get him a good purse. His ability to bowl in the middle and death over makes him a suitable candidate for the uncapped Indian fast bowlers. MI fans will hope to have him back in the squad and serve long.

Vijaykumar Vyshak

Right-arm Karnataka fast bowler Vijaykumar Vyshak was one of the finds from the RCB management. The 28-year-old has done incredibly well for the Karnataka team and has picked 42 wickets in 30 matches going 8.29 runs per over. The record looks good considering the slot at which he balls. His ability to bowl with the new bowl makes him a difficult bowler to pick.

Additionally, his recent hundred in first-class cricket and receiving a maiden call-up in the T20Is for the South Africa tour will be an advantage for him. Vijaykumar Vyshak will be looking forward to getting selected for the IPL again and proving his worth to the team. If groomed properly, he could potentially lead the bowling attack of the representing team.

Mohsin Khan

The dynamic left-arm fast bowler from Uttar Pradesh, Mohsin Khan grabbed the attention of the selectors and experts during his period in LSG. His ability to bowl in the right channel and with good control over the ball makes him an exciting prospect. He has been sensational for both UP and LSG. Playing for UP, Khan has picked 71 wickets in 55 matches with the best figure of 4/16.

Initially picked by Mumbai Indians in 2018, Mohsin got his exposure in IPL 2022 when LSG decided to trust his ability. Since then, Mohsin has not looked back and is likely to get picked because of his excellence in domestic and league cricket. If he goes into the auction, Mohsin Khan may get a good bid in the auction and hopefully a better season in the coming years.

Vaibhav Arora

A gun fast-bowler from Himachal Pradesh, and one of the bowlers to look out for in this auction. The 27-year-old quick will be looking forward to having a great season in the coming IPL. His records have proved his capabilities and are likely to have him his due.

Playing for Himachal Pradesh, Vaibhav Arora has picked 44 wickets in almost a similar number of matches. His records in the IPL have been similar, picking 19 wickets in 20 matches at an economy of more than 9. However, his ability to pick wickets at crunch moments makes him an exciting contender to watch out for.

Yash Thakur

A genuine wicket-taking bowler, and an important player of Vidarbha and LSG. Yash Thakur’s ability to pick wickets at regular intervals makes him a dangerous bowler. For Vidarbha, Yash has played 79 wickets at an economy of nearly 8. Thakur’s potential was utilized by LSG when they picked him in 2022.

Representing LSG, Yash Thakur has picked 24 wickets in 19 matches. Though his economy has been on the higher side. However, his ability to pick wickets at regular intervals will likely attract bids from a few franchises looking for an uncapped Indian fast bowler. Thakur will look forward to making this IPL his own and hoping for a national call soon.

The coming IPL will be an exciting one to see as the wave of Indian fast bowlers will be on the deck. The future of the Indian fast-bowling attack will see their successors amongst the pool of uncapped Indian fast bowlers.
