One Change will make India T20 World Cup Champions

Indian cricket team has been struggling to win their 2nd title of the T20 World Cup since the inaugural season’s win so here, these changes could put an end to their trophy wait for the last 16 years.

India will have to go with an out-of-the-box approach in the upcoming T20WC 2024 campaign because the conventional techniques have not been beneficial so far. One of the major issues with the selection committee of Team India is that they fear taking some hard calls.

One Change that could end the T20 World Cup Drought

Team India should look into one batting position in this T20 World Cup, if this batting position is sorted then the rest of the batting positions will be much easier to fill. India should go with Virat Kohli as an opener along with Rohit Sharma, which will open a variety of options for the management to go with other inform players in the middle. If India goes with Virat and Rohit as openers, they can easily fit the inform power hitter Shivam Dube at number 4 followed by Rishabh Pant at 5, Hardik at 6, and Jadeja at 7. And if needed, they can also fit Axar Patel at number 8 which can improve the batting prowess of the lineup.

Team India’s bowling departed is most probably sorted, with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh in the pace department, and Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja. If Axar Patel is not included in the lineup so either Mohammed Siraj or Yuzvendra Chahal will replace him as per the conditions.

Team India’s Strongest Playing 11 for the T20 World Cup 2024:

Rohit Sharma (C), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Rishabh Pant (Wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh.
