BCCI: No More Byjus Sponsorship for Team India in 2023

BCCI already announced the partnership with Adidas as their new Indian Cricket Team Kit Sponsor before the start of the IPL 2023 season. BCCI and Adidas India have made a 5-year deal from June 2023 to March 2028. Adidas will provide all the match, training, and travel kits to Indian Men’s, Women’s, and U-19 Teams.

Amidst this, so many questions have been raised about the Byjus Sponsorship deal with BCCI. In the latest Practice and Match Jerseys, it was revealed that there were no Byjus Sponsorship logo on the new outfits of the players.

Is BCCI and Byjus Sponsorship Deal Ended?

Last year in year 2022, Byjus increased the agreement deal with BCCI for the Jersey Sponsorship till November 2023, which was also covering the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. But later, after the end the of T20 World Cup 2022, Byjus wanted to cancel the deal. Then, BCCI requested Byjus to stay till 31st March 2023 as a sponsor. This could be the one of the reasons behind the absence of Byjus in the new jersey which has been presented by Adidas.

Now there’s a high probability that BCCI might look for a new Jersey Sponsor in place of the Byjus after the WTC 2023 Final.
