Best Playing 11 from India Squads for South Africa

BCCI released the India Squads for South Africa tour, the tour will consist of three series of each format (3 T20Is, 3 ODIs, and 2 Tests). Each series will have its importance like T20Is will help to prepare for the upcoming 2024 World Cup in June 2024, Tests will be part of the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle and ODIs will be part of the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.

Hardik Pandya will miss the entire South Africa tour as he is still not completely recovered from the ankle injury. Additionally, senior players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Virat Kohli have been rested from the complete white ball tour but are part of the Test squad.

Selectors have also dropped the interim vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane from the Test Squad, which was a little surprising move after the comeback of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. Also, Prasidh Krishna and Ruturaj Gaikwad have been given an opportunity in the red ball Squad.
