IPL 2024 Auction was completed on 19th December at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena. All 10 franchises filled their squads and spent more than INR 200 Crore in the Mini Auction. Also, this IPL 2024 Auction created history by registering the two most expensive bids including Mitchell Starc’s INR 24.75 Crore by KKR, and Pat Cummins’s INR 20.50 Crore by SRH.
Starc and Cummins owned this year’s Mini IPL Auction, also the fact is that Starc will be returning to IPL after 9 years, and Pat Cummins took a break from the IPL 2023 season due to workload management still they were the heroes of this auction. Top-Order: Travis Head, Rachin Ravindra, and Manish Pandey.
Two left-handers Travis Head and Rachin Ravindra, can contribute with the ball as well would be the best choice openers who can also make the most of the powerplay restrictions. Both played an important role in the success of their respective nations in the indian conditions of the recent ODI World Cup 2023. Middle-Order: Shahrukh Khan, Ramandeep Singh, Srikar Bharat (WK), and Wanindu Hasaranga.
